Successfully abseiled down the north face of Room 94 and headed for breakfast:

Despite a poor forecast we set off in dry, if cloudy, weather. The journey today was through very slighly undulating countryside with woodland and wide open fields.  Saw a stork in a field with a huge red beak:

Had a coffee in a petrol station diner and headed to the German border:

The rest of the journey continued on really good A roads - avoiding motorways.  I discovered the rules of the 'Zen Art of Motorcycle SatNav':

- If you take a wrong turning - chill out, deep breaths, find your central space, and next time:

- PAY ATTENTION AND DO WHAT THE DAMN THING TELLS YOU !

Arrived in Vechta and checked into the small hotel:

Went for a stroll to the town centre, had a (healthy) lunch, wathced the world go by and headed back for a siesta.

Distance travelled: 125 miles
