Awoke before the alarm and got ready to leave.  Liz took a photo in our front yard before we hit the road for Dover.

Leaving at 8 am meant we missed the worst of the motorway traffic and arrived in good time for some food before departure.

Bade farewell to the white cliffs for a while.

Arrived in Dunkirk and set the satnav for Ninove.  Easy riding on a sunny afternoon through the Belgian countryside.  Arrived at Carl and Anne-Marie's house to find preparations in hand for a BBQ feast and extensive Belgian beer tasting session !

Such was the conviviality of the company and the generosity of our hosts - the only one to sample the delights of the pool was the pet dog !

Tomorrow we go to a local Harley gathering and perhaps get to have a dip in the pool !
